Benchmark a mining project against an industry-scale technical intelligence base.
LOMExcel benchmarking is powered by MineGPT™ — a proprietary mining intelligence platform built from NI 43-101, SK-1300 and JORC technical disclosures across the global mining industry.
Instead of beginning each assignment with a manual search for a handful of comparable reports, LOMExcel starts from millions of already-structured technical facts spanning mining, processing, resources, reserves, costs, economics and project characteristics.
We then apply engineering judgement to identify the peers that actually matter, normalize the relevant evidence and turn it into a decision-ready benchmark.
Broader evidence. Better peer selection. Defensible technical context.
Finding mining projects is easy. Finding the right comparables is not.
Published values are not always directly comparable
Technical context matters
Outliers require interpretation
Most benchmarking starts with a search. Ours starts with MineGPT.
Traditional project benchmarking is constrained by the time available to find, read and manually structure comparable technical reports. That often means the analyst begins with a relatively small known peer group and searches outward from there.
LOMExcel works differently. Our benchmarking engagements are supported by MineGPT™, a proprietary mining intelligence platform in which technical information from public mining disclosures has already been ingested, structured and made queryable across projects and disciplines.
“Which five projects do we already know?”
“Across the available mining universe, which projects actually satisfy the technical characteristics that make them relevant peers?”
Millions of structured technical facts allow the potential peer universe to be screened across multiple dimensions before engineering judgement is applied to the final benchmark.

Examples describe the types of intelligence available; coverage of individual fields varies by project, depending on disclosure and data availability.
The database makes the search broader. Engineering judgement makes the comparison useful.
Access to millions of structured facts is valuable only if the right technical filters are applied. A copper project is not automatically comparable with another copper project. A 10 Mtpa plant is not automatically comparable with another 10 Mtpa plant.
Deposit geometry, grade, mine type, process route, recovery mechanism, infrastructure setting, jurisdiction, study maturity and many other factors can materially affect project performance. MineGPT allows LOMExcel to interrogate these characteristics across a much larger technical evidence base; LOMExcel then applies engineering judgement to identify the peer group that is defensible for the specific decision.
The value is not simply the final spreadsheet.
The finished benchmark may be delivered as an Excel workbook, charts and an executive technical summary. But the real capability sits behind that deliverable.
LOMExcel has already invested in building MineGPT: a proprietary mining intelligence platform that continuously converts large volumes of public technical disclosure into structured, interrogable mining intelligence. A benchmarking engagement therefore draws on an existing intelligence asset rather than requiring the underlying evidence base to be recreated manually for each client.
Clients receive the benefit of that infrastructure without needing to build or maintain it themselves.

Start with the question, not the spreadsheet.
01“Is our project CAPEX high relative to genuinely comparable projects?”
02“Is the proposed plant throughput appropriate for this resource and mine configuration?”
03“How does the proposed metallurgical recovery compare with projects using similar processing routes?”
04“Which projects should we use as peers for this PEA, PFS or feasibility study?”
05“Are the mining and processing cost assumptions within a defensible peer range?”
06“How does this acquisition target compare with similar-stage projects?”
07“Which assumptions in this technical study appear to be outliers?”
08“How have comparable projects changed between earlier studies and feasibility-level development?”
09“What technical factors explain the cost difference between these projects?”
10“Where does this project sit against its development-stage peers?”
11“Which comparable projects have actually progressed beyond the study stage?”
12“What would management need to understand before presenting this project against peers?”
A defensible benchmark starts before the first number is compared.

LOMExcel provides technical decision-support information and does not provide securities recommendations or investment advice.
Proprietary mining intelligence. Engineering judgement. One benchmark.
MineGPT provides breadth. Engineering experience provides context. LOMExcel combines the two.
The platform can surface potential peers and technical evidence across an industry-scale information base. The consulting process then determines which comparisons are meaningful, what needs to be normalized, where the source definitions differ, which outliers deserve investigation and what those differences mean for the client's decision.

Benchmarking FAQ
Can we nominate the projects we want included?
Yes. Client-nominated peers can be included with additional peers identified by LOMExcel. Material differences from the target project will be identified rather than ignored.
Can LOMExcel identify the peer group for us?
Yes. Peer-universe development is central to the service. Selection can consider technical, geographic, development-stage and scale factors according to the question.
What technical-report sources can be used?
Benchmarks draw on MineGPT's structured intelligence from NI 43-101, SK-1300 and JORC technical disclosures, with source reports reviewed where required. Client-provided information can also be incorporated under NDA.
Can you compare costs reported in different currencies?
Yes, where included in scope. Currencies and units can be converted to a common basis. Escalation to a common cost year is applied only where agreed and technically appropriate.
Do you simply pull numbers from a database?
No. MineGPT provides an industry-scale structured evidence base, but peer selection, source review, comparability assessment, normalization and technical interpretation are performed by LOMExcel as part of the assignment.
Do I need a MineGPT subscription?
No. The intelligence platform supports the engagement; LOMExcel delivers the analysis. No MineGPT subscription is required to commission a benchmark.
Can the output be delivered in Excel?
Yes. The detailed workbook is designed to remain usable by the client's own technical team.
Can you prepare a management presentation?
Yes. PowerPoint or management-level summary outputs can be included in custom scopes.
Can this support an M&A process?
Yes. Benchmarking can support asset screening and technical due diligence, but does not replace full transaction, legal, financial or technical due diligence.
Can you work under NDA?
Yes. Mutual NDAs are supported.
How quickly can work start?
Subject to current capacity, tightly scoped rapid assignments can often begin immediately. Share the required timing so feasibility can be confirmed before engagement.
