Francisca Lombard, MBA, B.Eng (Chemical & Metallurgical) is the Director of Innovation at LOMexcel Inc. and founder and creator of MineGPT™, an AI-driven mining intelligence platform that transforms complex technical reporting into structured, searchable knowledge.

She began her career in 2011 on mining operations before moving into operational efficiency and growth studies on the owner's side. She later transitioned to consulting, where she worked in commissioning, detailed engineering, and ultimately specialized in front-end studies — which she has focused on for the past seven years.

Francisca is driving innovation at the intersection of engineering and artificial intelligence as the founder of MineGPT, an AI-driven knowledge platform designed to transform technical reports and study data into structured, searchable intelligence — enabling faster analysis, better decision-making, and greater transparency across the mining sector.

With over a decade of experience managing front-end studies and capital projects in the mining industry, as well as the hands-on development of the first mining-focused agentic artificial intelligence system (MineGPT), Francisca bridges engineering expertise with digital innovation. Her work focuses on enabling data transparency, faster decision-making, and the responsible adoption of AI across technical disciplines.
